To use td Affiliate and td Campaigns to drive sales. td Integral (cross-media marketing platform) was used to serve ads and for file hosting.

Description

TradeDoubler's account management team focused on affiliate segmentation and incentives targeted at specific groups in order to drive results on the program during the peak Sep-Oct and Jan-Feb sales periods. The much improved and transparent commission structure was essential to success. Increased program exposure which included inclusion in the TradeDoubler newsletter was key to recruiting quality affiliates. Other activities included; creating a program specific HTML newsletter; purchasing advertising space on the affiliates' homepages and updating seasonal creatives.

Results

During the eight month period number of sales increased 348%, sales value increased 350%, impressions by 90%, traffic by 264% and conversion by 23%.

The current strategy has generated strong revenues with the potential for further growth. The affiliate channel is progressively becoming a significant source of online business and fits well within our online marketing mix. We look forward to it's continued success as an integral part of our online business.
